[ Though he's quickly learned that Hizen will eat more or less anything edible. The rice is boiling on the stove right now, and he was about to cut the chicken and ginger. ]

(The phone is still going ping ping ping over in the living room but at least it's muffled. He takes another sip of sake and mumble,)

(He isn't going to let him do all of the work. There isn't much space in the kitchen. Really, the whole apartment is pretty small but there's still room to at least turn on the electric kettle to get some water boiling for tea.

He'll rifle through the fridge for some tsukemono to set out for them to eat with their breakfast too. Nothing fancy! Some pickled yellow radish and cucumber.)
